  1. C++ was originally based on the initial definition of C called
  2. Classic C.  After the introduction of C++, the American
  3. National Standard for Information Systems published a
  4. definition of the Standard C language.  This definition is
  5. commonly called ANSI C.  ANSI is also developing a standard
  6. definition of C++.
  7.
