Transcription: All code examples are stored in files in a directory named examples on the CD-ROM. Source file names begin with EX. The next characters are a two-digit chapter number followed by a two-digit sequence number. If the code is specific to a particular compiler, an I for IBM, a B for Borland, or an M for Microsoft is appended to the file name. Normal C++ extensions are used. All source files are ordinary ASCII files accessible by commands such as dir, copy, and edit.
