  9. IconConvert converts icons between different palettes. It can also change
  10. the depth of icons.
  11.  
  12. IconConvert converts the icons by changing the colours so that the original
  13. image is kept, even if the new image has fewer image planes or a different
  14. palette.

  16. My reason for writing this was to be able to have MagicWB icons on a four
  17. colour screen, which is terribly ugly if you just set the Workbench screen
  18. to use 4 colours. I have converted every icon on my hard disk to four 
  19. colours, and I think they look better than eight coloured ones :)
