  15. "WOODBLOC will sound kind of old-fashioned to you and really: it is.
  16. Played at the legendary but still desastrous VersLeSoleil-concert in
  17. Paris, Oct. 12th 1979 at La Salle de deGaulle by the then so-called
  18. group CONSTRUCTION PLANT. ROBBING CRISTLE, PAIR UBE and the UNNYMOON
  19. KILLERS were with them. Great times these times. We sourly regret that
  20. most tapes from this concert were lost in that tragic car accident,
  21. when our van crashed into object TH-8975.322 which was drawing another
  22. circle in a rye field outside Nancy, France that night. Nothing
  23. serious happened to the driver Frank Whitney, accept he remembered
  24. having spent the night with Spiderwoman. That must be a joke since we
  25. all know that this girl had died at a serious lack of public attention
  26. in Hollywood 1932. Anyway - the tapes and a swiss army knife from
  27. underneath Frank's seat disappeared and probably now circulate in the
  28. Andromeda System, somewhere between Alpha Markab and Beta Scheat.

  30. Let me finish the story by affirming that this excellent and unique
  31. piece had been saved just because Frank had played the tape to his
  32. girlfriend Lauranne in Nykobing, Denmark via phone just before leaving
  33. Paris.

  35. Thanks to Eddie Dumb, drums, Thomas Hartlaub, woodbloc, Anette
  36. Smyrnjic, egitar, Gino Varese, electric violin, La Choire Eccentrique
  37. de Reims, and not to forget me, the bass player. We all have had a
  38. great time these days... Now Gino sold his violin, Thomas is driving
  39. taxi and Anette married a Canadian oil engineer. But the show must go
  40. on."

  42. I found this tape from my former neighbour at the roof-truss in a barn
  43. near Balmoral, Scotland where Jim used to spend his weekends during
  44. the early Nineties.
