  6. This is a port of the graphical WWW browser Chimera.
  7.  
  8. You need to have AmiWin 2.14 (registered or unregistered)
  9. installed on your machine to use it.
  10.  
  11. The original code Chimera is based on is somewhat old,
  12. so don't expect new features such as HTML-2/3 or
  13. Netscape-like features.

  15. Anyway, Chimera supports inline images, bookmarks, a
  16. local cache (temporary or permanent with expiration dates)
  17. and proxies. Printing should work, too, if you have
  18. ghostscript installed. AS225-R2 and AmiTCP are supported.

  20. Other features such as external viewers (through mime
  21. definitions) are there, but completely untested and likely
  22. not to work.

  24. This is an early alpha release. A LOT of testing is still
  25. required, but since I do not currently have the time for
  26. this, I am releasing this version to the public, hoping
  27. to get some useful bug reports and making bug fixes easier
  28. for me.
