  23. These are all possible points in the menu. Normally you only see the points
  24. which you can execute because of your user level or which make sense for the
  25. current action.

  27. In the following you find an exact description of the several commands:

  29. AD = Actual Directory               This function shows the name of the actual
  30.                                     directory.
  31.  
  32. CA = Change Area                    In the several areas there are files with
  33.                                     the same topic. Entering CA you get a
  34.                                     listing of all the areas with number and
  35.                                     short summary. Moreover the security_level
  36.                                     which is at least required for Read or
  37.                                     Write Message is shown. The two values can
  38.                                     be different. To get into the respective
  39.                                     area one of them will do. After that you
  40.                                     get a prompt for the number of the area
  41.                                     wanted.

  43. CD = Change Directory               With this command you can change to a sub-
  44.                                     directory. Here you have to know the name
  45.                                     of the directory. So it is necessary to
  46.                                     make a list first. Now you are prompted
  47.                                     to enter the name of the respective sub-
  48.                                     directory.

  50. CP = Change to previous Directory   If you are in a subdirectory you can change
  51.                                     with CP to the previous directory.

  53. CR = Change to Root Directory       If you are in more than one subdirectory
  54.                                     you can change with this command to the
  55.                                     root directory.

  57. CS = Chat SysOp                     This function makes a bell ringing on the
  58.                                     BBS host to call the sysop. If the sysop is
  59.                                     ready you find yourself in the chat mode.
  60.                                     If the sysop is not available you get a
  61.                                     message. Now you can leave a private mail
  62.                                     to him (sysop user number 5).

  64. DE = Delete Directories or Files    This command deletes directories or files.
  65.                                     After you have entered the respective name
  66.                                     you get a message if you were successful.
  67.                                     To be able to do this you need at least
  68.                                     security_level 90.

  70. LI = List Directories and Files     With this command you get a listing of all
  71.                                     directories and files with description (if
  72.                                     available) in a requested order. At first
  73.                                     the directories are listed with a + before
  74.                                     the name followed by the files with a -
  75.                                     before the name.

  77. MD = Make Directories               With this command you can make directories.
  78.                                     After you have entered the new directory
  79.                                     name you get a message if you were success-
  80.                                     ful. After that you get a prompt for a
  81.                                     description of the directory but you can
  82.                                     go on with enter. For this action you need
  83.                                     at least security_level 70.

  85. MM = Main Menu                      With this command you can get back from
  86.                                     this board to the main menu.

  88. RE = Rename Directories or Files    With this command you can change the name
  89.                                     of a directory or file. First you have to
  90.                                     enter the current name. After this the new
  91.                                     name is asked. To do this you need at least
  92.                                     security_level 80.

  94. RM = Read Message                   With this command you can read all avail-
  95.                                     able messages. Because you have to enter
  96.                                     the file name you need to make a list.

  98. SC = Set Directory or File Comment  With this command you can modify, delete or
  99.                                     complete the descriptions of the director-
  100.                                     ies or files. After entering the respective
  101.                                     directory or file name a new description
  102.                                     can be written. To do this you need at
  103.                                     least security_level 50.

  105. WM = Write Message                  After you have entered the file name and
  106.                                     the description you can write a message.
