  2. ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 1. Help for the MIDI File Format Converter ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ

  4. Use the MIDI File Format Converter to convert MIDI files from type 1 format to 
  5. type 0 format. 
  6.  
  7.  1. Identify the location of the source file you want to convert: 
  8.  
  9.    o If your source file is in the current directory, select its name from the 
  10.      Files list. The name of the currently selected file in the Files list is 
  11.      displayed in the Source file name field. 
  12.  
  13.    o If your source file is in the parent directory or a subdirectory of the 
  14.      current directory, change to the directory you want by selecting a name 
  15.      from the Directories list. The list in the Files box is updated with the 
  16.      names of the files in the new directory. Select your source file name from 
  17.      the Files list. 
  18.  
  19.    o If your source file is located on another drive, you can select the 
  20.      appropriate drive name from the Drive field. The lists in the Directories 
  21.      and Files boxes are updated with information specific to the new drive.

  23.    o If your source file is located on another branch in the directory 
  24.      structure, or another drive, and you know its location, you can type its 
  25.      complete path name in the Source file name field.

  27.  2. Select the Convert push button to convert the type 1 file named in the 
  28.     Source file name entry field to a type 0 file, named by the Target file 
  29.     name entry field. 
  30.  
  31. Select the Cancel push button to end the application. 
  32.  
  33. Select the Help push button to view this help panel.
