  1. Totally Unauthorized Cheat Codes for Heretic.

  4. Guess you would like to know how to cheat in Heretic, well, 
  5. don't type iddqd, you've probably figured that one out by now.  
  6. idkfa doesn't work either.  I'll show you the codes that do work, 
  7. and if you have any problems, or questions, 
  8. drop me a note at 73252,1413.

  12. I'm working on the developers parameters, 
  13. i.e. -devparm, and will upload that document as soon as I can.

  15. The Heretic Cheat Codes
  16.  
  17. Note: Just type these codes in while playing, 
  18. you will receive the benefit immediately.  These codes only
  19. work on the first 4 difficulty levels, the 5 level is like the 
  20. nightmare mode in DOOM & DOOM II.
  21.  
  22. The Code        What it does
  23.  
  24. kitty        =    Toggle Clipping 
  25.             - Walk through walls, type it again                 
  26.             to turn it off
  27.  
  28. ravmap        =    Shows entire map in map mode 
  29.             (Hit tab for map mode)
  30.             type ravmap twice shows where all the monsters are
  31.             type ravmap a third time to revert to the original.
  32.  
  33. massacre    =    This kills all of the monsters on the current level.
  34.  
  35. skel        =    This gives you all the keys
  36.  
  37. rambo        =    This gives you all the weapons and 200% Armor!
  38.  
  39. quicken        =    GOD Mode.  You can't be harmed
  40.  
  41. ponce        =    Full Health
  42.  
  43. shazam        =    Weapon Power up (Tome of Power) lasts for 30 secs.
  44.  
  45. engage        =    Level Warp.  i.e. engage12 would take you to
  46.             the second level of the first epidsode.
  47.  
  48. gimme        =    This gives you the other Heretic items from a menu.
  49.             
  50.             It will ask for an item letter (a-j)
  51.             and a quanity (1-9)
  52.  
  53.             i.e. gimme a 9 
  54.             This would give you 9 invincibility rings.
  55.             You then use the items from your inventory 
  56.             using the [ ] keys to select it, then press 
  57.             enter to load the item, press enter again 
  58.             during play to use the item.
  59.             
  60.     Here are the letters for the gimme command
  61.         
  62.     a:    Ring of Invincibility
  63.     b:    Shadowsphere (Partial Invisibility)
  64.     c:    Quartz Flask (Purple Vial, gives 7 chain links of health)
  65.     d:    bad input (havn't figured this one out yet)
  66.     e:    Tome of Power (Black Skull Book, gives your weapons superpowers!
  67.     f:    Torch (Light up dark areas, duh.)
  68.     g:    Bomb of the Ancients (If you lay one down, move away fast!)
  69.     h:    Morph Ovum (Turns the enemy into a chicken)
  70.         - The little chickens will attack and peck you, kill them!
  71.     i:    Wings of Wrath (You can fly!)
  72.     j:    bad input (havn't figured this one out yet)

  75. And finally, ever wonder what Heretic looks like 
  76. from a chickens point of view?

  78. Type cockadoodledoo    
  79. This turns you into a chicken for a short period of time.
