  8. License Agreement

  10. You should carefully read the following terms and conditions
  11. before using this software.  Unless you have a different license
  12. agreement signed by Roger L. Jack, your use of this software 
  13. indicates your acceptance of this license agreement and 
  14. warranty.

  16. Registered Version

  18. One registered copy of Bangfire For Letters may either be used 
  19. by a single person who uses the software personally on one or 
  20. more computers, or installed on a single workstation used 
  21. nonsimultaneously by multiple people, but not both.
  22.  
  23. You may access the registered version of Bangfire For Letters 
  24. through a network, provided that you have obtained individual 
  25. licenses for the software covering all workstations that will 
  26. access the software through the network.  For instance, if 8 
  27. different workstations will access Bangfire For Letters on the 
  28. network, each workstation must have its own Bangfire For Letters 
  29. license, regardless of whether they use Bangfire For Letters at
  30. different times or concurrently.

  34. This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of
  35. Pennsylvania.

  37. Disclaimer of Warranty

  39. THIS SOFTWARE AND THE ACCOMPANYING FILES ARE SOLD "AS IS" AND
  40. WITHOUT WARRANTIES AS TO PERFORMANCE OF MERCHANTABILITY OR ANY
  41. OTHER WARRANTIES WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED.  Because of the
  42. various hardware and software environments into which BangFire 
  43. For Letters may be put, NO WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR 
  44. PURPOSE IS OFFERED.

  46. Good data processing procedure dictates that any program be
  47. thoroughly tested with non-critical data before relying on it.
  48. The user must assume the entire risk of using the program.  ANY
  49. LIABILITY OF THE SELLER WILL BE LIMITED EXCLUSIVELY TO PRODUCT
  50. REPLACEMENT OR REFUND OF PURCHASE PRICE.

  54. Evaluation and Registration

  56. This is not free software.  You are hereby licensed to use this
  57. software for evaluation purposes without charge for a period of 21
  58. days.  If you use this software after the 21 day evaluation period
  59. a registration fee of $23.95 (includes shipping) is required.  
  60. Payments must be in US dollars drawn on a US bank, and should be 
  61. sent to Roger L. Jack, 2701 Belmont Avenue, Ardmore, PA 19003.  
  62. Credit card ordering is available.  When payment is received you 
  63. will be sent a registered copy of the latest version of Bangfire 
  64. For Letters.

  66. Unregistered use of Bangfire For Letters after the 21-day evaluation 
  67. period is in violation of U.S. and international copyright laws.

  69. Distribution

  71. Provided that you verify that you are distributing the Shareware
  72. Version (look at the title bar of the application and it should say 
  73. "Unregistered Version") you are hereby licensed to make as many 
  74. copies of the Shareware version of this software and documentation 
  75. as you wish; give exact copies of the original Shareware version to 
  76. anyone; and distribute the Shareware version of the software and 
  77. documentation in its unmodified form via electronic means.  There 
  78. is no charge for any of the above.

  81. donations, for any such copies, however made; and from
