  3.                     THE MENU MANAGER DEMO DISC

  6.    The menu manager is an application designed to calculate the nutritional 
  7. content of a cooked dish.
  8.  
  9. The top left window represents the Larder. 
  10.  
  11. Clicking on one of the icons in the larder opens an ingredients list for that
  12. category. Click on the ingredient you want and its name appears in the top
  13. icon. Enter the amount in grams.
  14.  
  15. Drag the ingredient onto the recipe contents list on the right of the window.
  16.  
  17. In the directory called Recipes are some (you've guessed it!) recipes which
  18. you can drag onto the recipe contents icons.
  19.  
  20. Once you have the recipe complete it can be analysed.
  21.  
  22. Clicking on one of the ingredients in the contents list causes its
  23. nutritional content to be displayed at the left. Clicking with adjust enables
  24. a number of ingredients to be added together.

  26. The large buttons at the centre of the window allow the entire recipe to be
  27. added together and its nutritional content shown before and after "cooking"
  28. and per 100g of the complete dish.

  31. The demo version has no save or print facilities and the larder contains only
  32. a small number of ingredients. The full version has data on over 600
  33. ingredients and comes with full instructions. It is designed to complement
  34. MEWsoft's Diet Manager which does a similar job for a complete day's diet.
