  5. MT is an eight track MIDI recorder/editor designed for IBM PC/AT's or 
  6. compatible computers using a Roland MPU-401 MIDI interface.  256K minimum 
  7. memory is needed.  A Microsoft mouse is optional, but highly recommended.

  9. You have already run the INSTALL program.  You will need to run this again if 
  10. you want to change screen colors, or if you change video equipment.
  11.  
  12. MT is organized as a series of menus. When you first start up the program you 
  13. will be at the primary menu.  Selecting an item on this menu routes you to one
  14. of the different segments of the program, such as Edit and Record. Select menu
  15. items by using the arrow keys to move the cursor, or by typing the first
  16. letter of the menu item.  Once the right menu item is highlighted, hit the 
  17. return key to execute the selected function.  The PgUp and Home keys move to
  18. the top menu item while PgDn and End move to the last item.

  20. Menus can be exited by either selecting the QUIT option, or by hitting the 
  21. ESC key.  Any command that asks you for input (like "Enter a number ->") can 
  22. be skipped by just hitting the return key.  You can correct mistakes on the 
  23. input line by using the backspace key and then retyping.
