  9. This new bootpic-viewer takes full advantage of the Picasso96-
  10. gfx-board-software-features. Unlike the others, this viewer
  11. saves the picture directly in the executeable in chunky-pixel
  12. format the therefore loading is very faaast.
  13. Another important feature is that the screen only exists in
  14. gfx-board memory. So during boot no extra amiga memory is used
  15. and fragmentation is minimized.
  16. A preferences-program based on reqtools is included.

  22.   possible 320x240 , 640x480 , 800x600)
  23. - ShowAmiga96 loads the Picasso96-monitor-driver itself -> no

  25. - the WorkBench-screen is forced to open behind the SA96-screen
  26.   (the bootpic can keep visible until all WBstartup-programs are
  27.   loaded)

  35. Dieser neue Bootbild-Anzeiger nutzt die Funktionen der Picasso96
  36. Grafikkarten-Software. Im Gegensatz zu anderen Anzeigern, wird
  37. bei ShowAmiga96 das Bild direkt im Chunky-Pixel-Format im Haupt-
  38. programm gespeichert, wodurch Lade- und Anzeigegeschwindigkeit
  39. sehr hoch sind.
  40. Eine weitere Besonderheit ist, daß die Bilddaten nur im Grafik-
  41. kartenspeicher existieren. So wird während des Bootvorgangs
  42. nicht unnötig Amiga-Speicher verschwendet und die Fragmentierung
  43. minimiert.
  44. Ein Prefs-Programm basierend auf Reqtools-Requestern ist dabei.
