- Short: Safer Software Resets.
- Uploader: favers@oxford.net (Allan Versaevel)
- Author: favers@oxford.net (Allan Versaevel)
- Type: util/boot
-
-
- SafeReset 1.1 is a result of my dismay of the OS 3.x bug that causes a
- periodic guru on software resets when the present screen is in any
- double scanned mode. This varies on your CPU card and so on.
-
- Features:
- ---------
-
- - Elimanates software reset Gurus on 3.x productivity display machines!
- - CLI only. Use it with Toolsmenu, ToolsManager, etc.
- - Puts Screen into PAL/NTSC mode before rebooting.
- - Reset to PAL or NTSC using Degrader. Great for games.
- - GUI option
- - Free
-
-
- Note: SafeReset does not care if HD access is in progress.
- -----
-
- If SafeReset's huge size (16K) compared to other reboot utils bothers you,
- sorry. You are re-booting your machine aren't you ? Anyway, it works
- well and it is free :)
