  1. Welcome to Software of the Month Club!
  2.  
  3. TROUBLE-SHOOTING
  4. If you encounter problems while launching programs, quitting the START 
  5. program may solve your problem.  Run the program from DOS without the START 
  6. program will usually remedy most problems.  This is especially true when 
  7. trying to launch game programs.
  8.  
  9. Some programs will try to write back to the CD-ROM.  Because the CD-ROM is
  10. READ ONLY, you may have to copy the program to your local hard disk prior to 
  11. use.
  12.  
  13. Windows 95
  14. If you are using Windows 95 you can not us the START.EXE program.  You
  15. will need to go to my computer and select your CD-ROM drive.  Then run 
  16. the programs from the folders.  For a total list of the programs on the
  17. CD-ROM goto the GUIDES folder and double click on the proper months icon.
  18. You can also got to the folder of the programs that interest you and there
  19. will be a list of the programs that are only in that area.  Next, ones you
  20. are in the folder of the program you want see there will be a file named 
  21. THECLUB.TXT see this file for the executable file and what file has the 
  22. documentation.

  24. CD-ROM DIRECTORY STRUCTURE
  25. The programs on this CD-ROM were grouped into directories by SIG (Special
  26. Interest Group).  Under each SIG directory you will find a sub-directory 
  27. for each program.

  56. The PROGRAM GUIDE button in each SIG contains a detailed description of
  57. the programs.  Please read the PROGRAM GUIDE for any special instructions
  58. or requirements. For a MASTER PROGRAM GUIDE (a list of everything on this 
  59. CD) and BACK ISSUES (a list of previous published CD's) press the MASTER 
  60. PROGRAM GUIDES button.
