  1. Solve for the Roots of the Quadratic Equation
  2.  
  3. Ax^2  +  Bx  +  C  =  0
  4.  
  5. Use the Variable Keys  A  B and C to Input each of the Values for A  B and C.
  6.  
  7. Example :

  9. Click on the Quad Key
  10. You will then be Prompted to Input a value for Variable A
  11. Enter the Number 1 and then Click the A key
  12.  
  13. You will then be Prompted to Input a value for Variable B
  14. Enter the Number 2 and then Click the B key.

  16. You will then be Prompted to Input a value for Variable C
  17. Enter the Number -3 and then Click the C key.
  18.  
  19. The Display will show the First Root of 1
  20.  
  21. The Memory will show the Second Root of -3
  22.  
  23. Note : If the Roots were Complex then the Complex values
  24. would be shown in Display level 2 and Memory level 2 .

  26. Display level 1 and Memory level 1 always show the Real
  27. component of the Root
  28. whereas Display level 2 and Memory level 2 show the Complex component.
