  1. ORDERING INFORMATION

  4. WHAT CAN I ORDER?
  5. =================
  6. At the current time, you can order two things from us:
  7.  
  8. Registrations
  9. =============
  10. A PMView registration costs US$40. You must give us your name. In return,
  11. you will receive a short "secret code" (of about 30 letters and numbers)
  12. that will enable you to run REGISTER.EXE and thus register any and all
  13. version of PMView up to 1.0 and beyond. Thus, YOUR ONE-TIME PAYMENT of $40
  14. IS A LIFETIME LICENSE for all future versions of PMView.
  15.  
  16. Note: You will *not* receive PMView on a floppy, unless you order it at
  17. the same time (see below).
  18.  
  19. To register PMView, send your name and $40 to the address below. You can
  20. order more than one registration at a time; you must send one name for
  21. *each* registration.
  22.  
  23. PMView on a floppy
  24. ==================
  25. If you need to, you can order a copy of the current version of PMView
  26. on a 1.44MB floppy. This costs $7, or is *free* if you send your own
  27. self-addressed, stamped 1.44MB floppy disk.

  29. The version you get *won't* be special in any way. It will be completely
  30. identical to the most recent version uploaded on ftp.cdrom.com or
  31. CompuServe. It will *not* be registered.
  32.  
  33. To order PMView on a floppy, either send a self-addressed, stamped
  34. floppy disk (with postage for both ways!) *or* send a note with your
  35. name, address, and $7 to one of the addresses below.

  37. WHERE DO I SEND MY ORDER?

  40. You can pay for your PMView order with a check (made out in U.S. dollars and
  41. drawn on a U.S. bank), an International Money Order, or a Visa or
  42. MasterCard.
  43.  
  44. => To pay with a check or IMO, mail it to the following address:

  51. Your check or IMO *must* be made out in US dollars, and it *must* be made
  52. out to Workshops by Thiagi.

  54. Note that residents of Indiana (USA) must pay an additional 5% state sales
  55. tax. (Thus, 1 registration costs $42, and 1 PMView disk costs $7.35 if YOU
  56. live in Indiana.) People living anywhere else pay the usual $40 per
  57. registration or $7 per disk.

  59. BE SURE TO INCLUDE YOUR NAME, ADDRESS, AND E-MAIL ADDRESS (if you have
  60. one) WITH YOUR ORDER. For your convenience, you can simply print and
  61. fill out the file ORDFORM.TXT, which is included with PMView.

  63. => To pay with a Visa or Mastercard, you can do one of the following:

  65. 1) You can mail a note with your Visa or Mastercard information (your name
  66. credit card number, expiration date, and signature) to the Workshops by
  67. Thiagi address given above.

  69. 2) You can call (812) 332-1478 and ask for Raja. He will write down your
  70. credit card information, e-mail address, and so on.
  71.  
  72. 3) You can fax your order to (812) 332-5701.
  73.  
  74. 4) If you are using PGP, you can encrypt your order and e-mail it to Raja
  75. Thiagarajan. His address is sthiagar@nickel.ucs.indiana.edu ; you can finger
  76. him for his PGP public key, or send him a note and ask for it.

  78. As with payments by check or IMO, you will have to pay an extra 5% sales tax
  79. if you live in Indiana. And you should always be sure to include your name,
  80. address, and e-mail address!

  94. no e-mail access, send it to Peter or WBT, and they can either answer
  95. it themselves or pass it on to me. Note that if you want to participate
  96. in our beta program, you *must* have e-mail access to the Internet and
  97. you *must* be able to routinely receive large (roughly 1 megabyte)
  98. single, uuencoded messages.
