  213. The Export parameter is used when sending recipes to an ASCII
  214. file.  The output is formatted such that the text file can be
  215. imported into a Recipe Box Database using the CONVERT.EXE
  216. utility.

  220.                          Getting Started
  221. ----------------------------------------------------------------

  224. Recipe Box is menu driven with an on-line subject sensitive help
  225. system. Press F1 or <Alt H> at any time to activate the pop-up
  226. window with help information.
  227.  
  228. Choose Quick Guide from the Main Menu (M,Q) to bring up a list of
  229. Quick Guide selections. You can read about different features, as
  230. well as learn short cuts.
  231.  
  232. Hold down the Alt key for several seconds to activate a pop-up
  233. window displaying a list of Hot Keys. These features are
  234. available at any time by pressing either the Alt key and the
  235. appropriate letter or the correct Function Key :
  236.

  238.     Alt N : Note Pad                      [F2]
  239.     Alt S : Save & Continue               [F3]
  240.     Alt X : Save & Exit to DOS            [F4]

  245. The ESC key and F10 have the same effect. It will let you
  246. escape from where you are and return to where you were.
  247. Hitting the ESC key enough times will return to the top
  248. level Main Menu.

  251. WARNING : You should never exit Recipe Box by turning off the
  252.           power. This could corrupt your data files.

  256.                          Using the Mouse
  257. ----------------------------------------------------------------
  258.  
  259. Recipe Box will automatically detect whether or not a mouse is
  260. active.  If detected, a mouse character will appear on your
  261. screen.
  262.  
  263. The mouse is set up to respond to a single button click or drag.
  264. Both buttons on a 2 button mouse will respond in the same manner.
  265.  
  266. You can scroll through a list (or text) by dragging the upper or
  267. lower potion of the pop up window.  For example, select one of
  268. the topics from the TidBits menu.  Move the mouse pointer to the
  269. lower portion of the window and depress the mouse button.  The
  270. screen will scroll downward until the end of text is reached.
  271. Move the move pointer toward the top of the window to scroll
  272. toward the beginning of the text.
  273.  
  274. To close the current window, move the pointer outside the window
  275. boundary and click the mouse.
  276.  
  277. To select a menu item, click once to highlight and again to
  278. activate.  A single click outside the current window will close
  279. the window (has the same affect as pressing the ESC key).

  336. arrangement for Recipe Box Version 2.

  338. Sunrise Software will issue a Special Application License (SAL)
  339. for Recipe Box. The theme is to promote the use of our software
  340. with a special set of recipes (a Cookbook).

  342. All features and functions are active in the SAL diskette as in
  343. the Registered License version.  If the holder uses Recipe Box
  344. for adding in more recipes or cookbooks, then the holder is
  345. required to obtain (purchase) a registered license.
  346.  
  347. An example of the SAL would be an organization publishing a
  348. cookbook of 100 recipes plus offering a Recipe Box diskette with
  349. the same 100 recipes. A person obtaining the SAL diskette would
  350. have all the features of Recipe Box available to them.

  352. If the holder of the SAL diskette becomes a registered user they
  353. will receive the free utilities plus the 115 recipes distributed
  354. with the Shareware version.

  356. Sunrise Software will work with the organization to provide any
  357. desired customizing, such as:

  360.     or removal from database.

  622. Recipe Box is a DOS based program and can be removed from your
  623. hard drive using the standard DOS command: deltree
  624.  
  625. If C:\RCPE_BOX is the path where Recipe Box resides, then:

  629. This command will delete all files and subdirectories found in
  630. the subdirectory RCPE_BOX as well as remove the subdirectory
