  10.                      INSTRUCTIONS
  11.  
  12. To run this CD-ROM from DOS log to your CD-ROM drive (for instance type "D:")
  13. and then type "MENU" and [Enter]. A menu program will appear.
  14.  
  15. To run this CD-ROM from Windows (A Windows version before Windows 95)
  16. enter the Windows File Manager and go to the root directory on the CD-ROM.
  17. Double-click on the Setup.exe program and the Graphics Workshop program
  18. will be installed on your hard drive. Double-click on either the Graphics
  19. Workshop icon or load the program from the File Manager.
  20.  
  21. To run this CD-ROM from Windows 95, follow the same procedures as above or
  22. just insert the disk and it will start automatically.

  24. You can also use any image viewing program of your choice to view the images
  25. on this CD- ROM including many Macintosh viewing programs such as Adobe
  26. Photoshop.
  27.  
  28. If you are  running this program in DOS, then  just select the group
  29. of pictures that you wish to view and press enter.

  31. If you are having a problem with your video card, you may select any
  32. of  the   other  viewers  in  the   utility  directory.  Follow  the
  33. instructions included with the viewer.

  54.  Copy your pictures to your hard drive and put them into any
  55.  directory.(You may read your pictures directly from the 
  56.  CD-ROM if you wish but the CD-ROM will have to be in the drive
  57.  at all times or you will get an error.  If you have your own
  58.  GIF's or JPG's, you will need to convert them to BMP format first.

  62.  To Change or configure a Windows screen saver:
  63.  
  64.  In the MAIN group of the program manager, double click on the
  65.  Control Panel icon. Now double click on the Desktop icon. A
  66.  new window opens up with the screen saver information. Use the
  67.  little down arrow to the right of the screen saver's name, to
  68.  drop down a list so you can select "SAVIT"
  69.  
  70.  You may select from Dynamic Balls, Spotlight, Scrolling Message,
  71.  or Slides.  The slides may be in any directory and you can change 
  72.  them at any time.  If you have some favorite slides, you may want
  73.  to copy then to your hard drive so that will always be available.
  74.  All slides will be sized and centered as best possible when they 
  75.  are displayed.  After you load the slides, you may test them for 
  76.  timing and appearance.  When they are setup the way you want them,
  77.  press "OK" and your selection will be saved.

  79.  If all pictures display as you want them, then select the OK button
  80.  to close the setup page, then the OK button to close the desktop 
  81.  window. Close the Control Panel and your done! The screen saver 
  82.  will come on after the time delay you have set = minutes of 
  83.  inactivity.

  85.  The screen saver will say "BITMAP MISSING" if it cant find a 
  86.  picture and the background will change color.  This is the savers
  87.  way of telling you to load some pictures.
