  46.   containing the following files:

  52.   The IRDCw installation diskette contains
  53.   the following 3 files:
  54.   - SETUP.EXE    Self-Extracting Install Pgm.

  58. BEFORE YOU ATTEMPT TO INSTALL IRDCw
  59. ENSURE THAT THE VISUAL BASIC RUNTIME DLL
  60. (VBRUN300.DLL) RESIDES IN YOUR
  61. WINDOWS\SYSTEM SUBDIRECTORY.  THIS FILE
  62. IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE IRDCw ZIP'ed
  63. ARCHIVE TO MINIMIZE DOWNLOAD TIME; IT IS
  64. AVAILABLE FROM A VARIETY OF SOURCES
  65. INCLUDING COMPUSERVE.

  67. To install IRDCw:
  68.  
  69. 1) UNZIP the IRDCw archive to a diskette
  70.    or sub-directory of your choice.
  71.  
  72. 2) Start Microsoft WINDOWS 3.1
  73.  
  74. 3) Select the RUN sub-menu item under
  75.    the Program Manager File Menu and
  76.    run the SETUP.EXE program that was
  77.    unZIP'ed in (1).
  78.  
  79. The SETUP.EXE Program will perform the
  80. following steps:
  81.  
  82. 1) Optionally display the README.WIN file if
  83.    it is found on the installation drive.
  84.  
  85. 2) Prompt you for the following
  86.    information:
  87.    - Backup sub-directory
  88.        (Default: C:\BACKUP)
  89.    - IRDCw sub-directory
  90.        (Default: C:\IRDCW)
  91.    - Windows Program Manager Group Name
  92.        (Default: IRDCw)
  93.    - If DDE Demo app is to be installed;
  94.      and if so; Visual Basic sub-directory
  95.  
  96. 3) Confirm the COMMPORT that your ONE FOR
  97.    ALL Remote is attached to and modify
  98.    your IRDCW.INI file if required.
  99.  
  100. 4) Confirm the installation information
  101.    before proceeding.
  102.  
  103. 5) Decompress & Copy the following files:
  104.  
  105.   a) To the WINDOWS subdirectory:
  106.    - UNWISE.EXE
  107.  
  108.   b) To the WINDOWS\SYSTEM subdirectory:
  109.    - DDEML.DLL
  110.    - MHRUN300.DLL
  111.    - MHGCHK.VBX
  112.    - MHGCMD.VBX

  161.    If you elected to install the DDE sample app:
