  1. The following changes have been made to either fix bugs or to simply
  2. make upgrades in the software.

  4. VERSION 97 - Release Date 1-11-97, 9:17 a.m.
  5.  
  6. - Reverted to zip file which does not do a Windows-type setup to keep the
  7.   size of the zip file to a minimum.
  8. - Removed question G9C11: designated outdated/incorrect by FCC.

  11. Version 96 - Release Date 6-29-96, 5:45 p.m.
  12.  
  13. - High-resolution graphics are now a part of any printed question with an
  14.   associated figure. The graphics will print at the resolution of the printer
  15.   being used.
  16. - The calculator was modified to add x-squared and square root functions.
  17. - Most screens were changed to allow minimization and maximization.
  18. - The program now automatically scales the screen size to any resolution
  19.   monitor.
  20. - Menu bars were added to most screens to allow more "normal" Windows
  21.   operation.
  22. - An option was added to allow the user to print a sheet containing all
  23.   graphics for the Novice and Technician Classes.
  24. - The Title Screen was improved, including a Ham Shack graphic background.
  25. - The user can now select the font he/she wishes to use when printing. Font
  26.   sizes are restricted to between 10 and 14 points.  Font selection is
  27.   limited to those installed for both the screen and printer.
  28. - Installation was automated using Windows Setup

  30. Version 2.5 - Release Date: 05-15-94, 2:50 p.m.

  32. Version 2.2 was erroneously released with the incorrect version of
  33. THREED.VBX.  This version contains the new version for Visual Basic V3.0.

  35. Most of the filenames were renamed to allow General Class Manager to 
  36. peacefully coexist with the other class managers without interference.
  37.  
  38. Problem Corrected: The "Clear All Questions" button on the Test Editor 
  39. screen did not properly clear all the questions. Problem corrected.
  40.  
  41. Control boxes and maximize/minimize boxes were enabled on all screens to
  42. improve conformance to the accepted Windows traditional look.

  44. The address and phone numbers were updated to reflect PRACTICAL-ly 
  45. Software's move to Oxford, Ohio, on May 15, 1994.

  47. Version 2.2 - Release Date: 03-31-94, 4:00 p.m.

  49. This version incorporates the new question pool, which becomes effective
  50. on July 1, 1994.  All necessary modifications to the program were made to
  51. accommodate the new data.

  53. The "REF"erence button was removed from this version due to the software
  54. being released before Gordon West's study book. It will be put back in with
  55. the next version.

  57. Since there were no reported bugs in version 2.1, no "fixes" were necessary
  58. in this upgrade.

  61. Version 2.1 - Release Date: 08-25-93, 8:00 p.m.

  63. Problem fixed:  When printing tests, the page number would jump on the last
  64. page of the test.
  65.  
  66. Problem fixed:  When in the editor screen, if too many questions were clicked 
  67. in a subelement where the message box informs of the error, when "Make Test" 
  68. is executed, that "disallowed" question was still placed in the test, and the 
  69. last question on the test was dropped off.
