Subject: MFJ Antenna tuners?
Ed, I've been using an MFJ tuner for several weeks now and have had great results. Don't let them tell you not to get one. I have a 949-E Versa tuner II.
I recently moved here to Flagstaff AZ...from Missoulo MT...I used to do a lot of SWL back in Missoula with a DX-390...which unfortunenatly was stolen in
in the mountains of N AZ...My question was if anyone had any experience SWLing
here in Flagstaff... I also went to Radio Shack and took a look at their new
DX-394...and it looks like a nice little radio...but a bit pricey...anyone
now of any reviews that have been done on the radio...maybe in POP COM or
monitoring times magazine? I saw it in PWBR '96 But it did not say much.
Well mayb after the price comes down i'll spring for it...but the Sony 2010
right now looks like the best priced radio for the performance you get...saw it for $350 at HRO down in Phoenix...anyway if anyone has any suggestions pas

I've had an MFJ-16010 for years to use with my longwire, and I've often found
it to be quite helpful. Not a bad deal for the money!
