I already know about the 15 degree business and that some countries are off by .5 hours
but I am interested in knowing if anyone else is switching times during the year other
than the US.

: Well, there is one thing about Tucker - they are arrogant, they have a good selection, and they charge way too much for their used equipment. However,
has very deep pockets (VERY DEEP) and can afford to have merchandise sitting on the shelf, especially when he's paid next to nothing for it.

: Bottom line --- there are two large ham stores within 5 miles of my home. I go to Texas Towers whenever I need something because I can't stand dealing
Tucker because they have a huge inventory, and on connectors, cables and such, he has good prices.
Every time I go into TT, they act like they're too good to wait on me. At
least at Tucker's I can get waited on...
If I want to buy used gear, I go to the Sidewalk Sale, or listen to the
weekly swap nets on 2m.
