The following freely copyable software supports the packet driver
spec. A copy of these files are stored in the same directory on
Simtel20 as the packet drivers (see HOWTOGET.IT). All of these
files are available to customers of Crynwr Software (see SUPPORT.DOC)
for a nominal copying fee.

Vance Morrison's PCROUTE.
Version 2.22 of PCroute is available via anonymous FTP from
accuvax.nwu.edu (129.105.49.1) in pub/pcroute. This version
simply fixes one or two bugs present in 2.21. Note that if
you use PCroute with packet drivers GET THIS NEW VERSION.
The old version has a VERY serious bug in which some memory
gets overwritten with packet contents. It can have very
unpredictable results.

TRUMPET, an NNTP newsreader.
TRUMPET is a DOS based news reader which has a nice
front-end. It does NOT require Windows, but only requires a
packet driver.
The release as of this writing is 1.04. Note that the version
number is reflected in the filename.
tasman.cc.utas.edu.au:pub/pc/trump104.zip
Jan Engvald's PDCLKSET, a program to set the time on a PC.
For MSDOS machines I suggest you try PDCLKSET, available by
anonymous FTP from
Pollux.lu.se:pub/network/pdclkset/pdclk128.zip
It requires a packet driver, is very small (7 kbyte) and fast
(can be included in AUTOEXEC.BAT without noticeble delay).
It knows a lot about daylight saving algorithms all over the
world, but in the case of UK the implemented algorithm may
not be true every coming year, lacking an officially defined
DLS rule.

The new MS-KERMIT 3.11 includes a TCP/IP telnet client.

PC-NFS drivers.
Available from same place as Clarkson collection of packet drivers.
Look for compat.tar.Z, or compat.zip (identical contents, different
archiver). Note that you need to purchase PC-NFS from Sun in order
to use this package.
NDIS shim, provides a packet driver over an NDIS driver. There are
several versions of it.
