  16. MODEL: TH-28A/TH-48A
  17. SUBJECT: CTCSS Tone Error 
  18.  
  19. Symptom: Several reports were received on early model TH-28/48's concerning 
  20. an inability to access subaudible tone controlled repeaters. This symptom 
  21. only occured when the repeater required the use of any of the following tones:

  23. 131.8 Hz
  24. 136.5 Hz
  25. 173 8 Hz
  26.  
  27. Corrective Action: A microprocessor software error is responsible for this 
  28. symptom. Replacing microprocessor IC6 on board X53-3400 (TH-28) or 
  29. X53-3410 (TH-48) with the part listed below will correct this symptom.
