  17. SUBJECT: Noise at Squelch ON/OFF
  18.  
  19. Symptom:
  20.  
  21. While receiving a signal on one band a noise is heard in the speaker whenever
  22. the squelch on the other band opens or closes.
  23.   
  24. Corrective Action:
  25.  
  26. Add a 330 ohm resistor and 4.7 uF capacitor to the 5C line in the control unit
  27. (X57-4000-11 C/4).  Cut the 5C line and add the 330 ohm resistor in series
  28. and add the 4.7 uf from the 5C line to ground.
