  20. Some cases of PLL unlock on the TR-2600 may be caused by a failure of the
  21. crystal oscillator circuit X2, X3, and Q13.  This may be corrected by
  22. performing the following changes.

  24. On the TX unit (X56-1470-10)
  25.  
  26. Replace diodes D13 and D14 (MA856) wit a series pair of BA282 diodes.  Also
  27. change resistor R54 to 47 ohms.
  28.  
  29. Parts required:
  30.  
  31. BA-282 diode        4 each.
  32. 47 ohm chip resistor (RD73FB2A470J) 1 each
  33.  
  34. This change is applicable to serial numbers before SN 702XXXX.
  35. Time required for this modification is 1 hour or less.
