  20. The most common problem we have found with the DG-5 to date has been
  21. associated with the RCA type jacks.  The majority of the DG-5's we have
  22. received here for repair have had dirty center pins on the jacks.  The
  23. cause appears to be excessive rosin from soldering running into the center
  24. pin.  The standard repair has been to clean the center pin with solvent.
  25. Another possible problem is a cold solder connection at the RCA jack. You
  26. should also check the interconnection cables for continuity.  This should
  27. take care of about 90% of the DG-5 repairs you will see.
