For those who don't want to cut the yellow wire, the pin can be left on
the yellow wire and returned to its normal state later if you want to
un-mod the radio. Simply unplug the connector. Using a paper clip, push
in on the release pin on the side of the connector while tugging n
the yellow wire. The pin will come right out. Now you may wrap a small
wire around the neck of the pin, solder then tape it. Run the extension
down to the vco point.
