  1. Welcome to Herman's Adventures  (this game is for MS Windows EGA or VGA)
  2.  
  3. In this game Herman moves around a maze collecting treasure, avoiding
  4. danger, and finding keys to unlock the doors to the next game level.
  5.  
  6. With support the Herman Adventure series is planned to grow in the future.
  7. Each new program will be more exciting and expand by adding new  playing
  8. parts and puzzling challenges.
  9.  
  10. The first in this series will be a shareware product allowing the first
  11. three levels as a trial period. If then you choose to continue playing you
  12. must REGISTER the program. This is the only way to get all eight playing
  13. levels and have the ability to save your game progress. 
  14.  
  15. Like Herman and the Falling Rocks the Adventure series will have the rocks
  16. but now you must find keys and open locked doors to move to the next level.
  17. Treasures can be found along the way which will give you points. But hiding
  18. under some rocks are spiders. The spiders will be out to get you by biting
  19. you. Their bites are very poisonous and too many can lead to death. To help
  20. counter the affect of the poison you gather fruit and soft drinks.

  22. When you REGISTER this program you will have eight levels to complete by 
  23. unlocking the doors with the keys found in the maze. Each level offers a new
  24. challenge. It may be difficult for some but this is what makes it fun.

  26. SHAREWARE: Herman's Adventures is NOT a public domain program, it is a
  27.            ShareWare product. If after 15 days of playing you choose to
  28.            continue playing Herman you are obligated to REGISTER by sending

  41. Upon receipt of funds a 3.5 disk will be sent with the current version
  42. with all eight playing levels. (5.25 inch disk is available on request)

  44. If you are a shareware distributor you may distribute this program as long
  45. as you contact the author for permission first. You must distribute all the
  46. files intact and unmodified.

  48. The purchaser of said program must be informed in advance that the fee paid
  49. to acquire the software does NOT relieve said purchaser from paying the
  50. Registration Fee for the program.

  52. Operators of private electronic bulletin board systems (Sysops) may post
  53. this Program for downloading by their users without written permission
  54. only as long as no fee be charged for access to the bbs.
