  4. Welcome to PageStream 2.2.HL. This is a maintenance upgrade from
  5. PageStream 2.2.
  6.  
  7. Make sure you read all of the readme files.
  8. They contain important information on installation. 
  9.

  11. NEW FEATURE
  12. ===========

  14. BREAK LINKS: You can now 'un-publish' a picture or text article to
  15. break the link between it and the edition file on disk. To break the
  16. link select the desired element and then choose the Publish command
  17. while holding down a Shift key.

  20. IMPROVED AND FIXED
  21. ==================

  23. LANDSCAPE PRINTING: Printing landscape pages to non-PostScript printers
  24. with an unequal aspect ratio (ie: 180x360 dpi instead of for example
  25. 180x180dpi) distorted bitmap pictures. This is fixed in 2.2 HL.

  27. IMPORT PICTURES: Importing graphics into picture windows did not work
  28. if certain program settings were defaulted on in 2.2. This is fixed in
  29. 2.2 HL.

  31. POSTSCRIPT TYPE 1 FONTS: The normal, roman or standard style of all
  32. fonts is now correctly displayed in the font requester.
  33.  
  34. FILE REQUESTERS: PageStream will now work with replacements for
  35. AmigaDOS 2.04's ASL file requester such as FR_Bypass (Khalid's file
  36. requester) or the MFR (Magic File Requester).

  38. 8 AND 16 COLOR MODES: Window gadget highlighting now matches the 2.04
  39. standard.

  41. TAGS: Appending tags, appending documents and hotlinking text now checks to
  42. see if a tag already exists before adding it to the list so multiple copies
  43. of tags will not accumulate.

  45. HOTLINKS: Many changes have been made to the HotLinks features in 2.2 HL.
  46. If you use HotLinks you must use 2.2 HL, not 2.2.

  49. HOTLINKS EDITIONS IS NOW AVAILABLE!!!

  54. HotLinks right away. It includes BME (BitMap Editor), PageLiner (text

  58. time.

  60. PageStream 2.2 HL is a HotLinks compatible application. Watch for more
  61. exciting HotLinks programs from your favorite Amiga software houses. If
  62. one of your programs isn't HotLinks compatible and you would like
  63. HotLinks features added to it, call its technical support department
  64. and request that they add HotLinks.

  95. Professional Page users: you can now use these fonts with Professional
  96. Page 3.0 (Gold Disk reportedly supplies a font conversion program which
  97. will accept these fonts for use with ProPage 3.0), and with Saxon
  98. Publisher 1.2 (SaxonScript is used to create Saxon format fonts.)

  100. compatibility with their software.

  103. volumes of high quality Encapsulated PostScript clip art is the ideal
  104. source for all your illustration needs, and is now available from your
  105. dealer or Soft-Logik Publishing. Virtually all of these graphics are in
  106. Illustrator EPS format so they can be imported into PageStream as
  107. editable objects. EPS clip art can also be used with Art Expression,
  108. Professional Page and Saxon Publisher.
