  2.                AccountINDEX for TEMPEST BBS!

  5. This is version 1.4 of  The Professor's Pro-INDEX, Account INDEX for
  6. Tempest BBS.  Of use only to Tempset BBS 1.4u.2+.  It is re-write of 
  7. Tim's INDEX program (v1.0).
  8. Use it occasionally to make sure that there are no problems with the
  9. Accounts.INX.  This is important for fast logins with no errors.

  35. This Program will operate correctly on any TEMPEST BBS system, reguardless 
  36. of the number of nodes or the version of Tempest the bbs is running.  
  37. It has been tested on systems ranging from 1 to 4 nodes, on caller bases 
  38. ranging from 30 to 430 callers.
  39. It was 100% safe, stable & reliable in dozens tests.

  45. 1> The Format for it's use is this:
  46.    Pro-INDEX <Path to BBS:>

  57. 3> The util can be run on commandline, to create the index file
  58.    It wil be maintained by the BBS automaticlly.
  59.    It can also be run in the logoff script to guarentee a current index
  60.    file (a good idea if there is a fair amunt of account editing)

  63. 4> The utility is a script/cli command.
  64.    You can run the utility from the CLI, if you just type the name, a
  65.    short version of these docs come up.

  69.  You assume ALL RISK by running this program!

  71.   It runs perfect on my machine! (68030/68882 at 50mhz with 9 megs of ram)
  72.   And has been tested on an Amiga 2000 with 9 megs of ram at 14.28mhz and
  73.   an a500 with 5 megs at 7.14mhz all with out problems. But....
  74.   There is no 'implied' preformance.  If it works for you, fine.  If it eats
  75.   all your HD's & turns your Amiga into a MAC, the resoposibility for that is
  76.   up to you.  This CODE many not be re-sold at profit above a reasonable fee
  77.   for dupication of disks. If you plan to do so, please contact me first
