  1. The "registered user" version of DLC allows for greater flexibility.
  2.  
  3. Here is the "Usage" information from the current registered release:
  4.  
  5.   USAGE1:  DLC -r -d -u -l -s "sysop name" <n>
  6.  
  7. Where <n> is the number of callers to display (1-20).
  8.  
  9.  -r  = NOREVERSE specifies not to display callers in reverse order.
  10.  -d  = NODISPLAY specifies not to display the list AT ALL.
  11.  -u  = NOUPDATE  specifies not to update the list AT ALL.
  12.  -l  = NOLOCAL   specifies to supress logging of ALL local ports.
  13.  -s  = NOSYSOP   specifies to supress logging of the named user (you),
  14.                  regardless of port.  This option requires a sysop name.
  15.  
  16. Above options may be combined except -d & -u, which are mutually exclusive.
  17. Do not specify <n> if you're not displaying any callers.
  18.  
  19.   USAGE2:  DLC SET <n1> <n2>
  20.   (to set new call totals)
  21.  
  22.  <n1> = Calls Total (non-negative)
  23.  <n2> = Calls Today (non-negative)

  25.   USAGE3:  DLC NODLG
  26.   (for running "off-line")

  29. The above options will allow you to have DLC silently update the caller
  30. list as they log in and then have a menu selection for viewing the list.
  31. In this way, users are not forced to view the list--they can remove it
  32. from their command stack.  For this mode, you would call DLC with the
  33. -d option in your DLGConfig:Batch/Login.DLGBatch and then in the menu
  34. selection you would call it with the -u option and any other display
  35. parameters you see fit.

  37. You could call DLC from your DLGConfig:Batch/Logout.DLGBatch with the
  38. -d option and then use the -u option for displaying at login and the
  39. caller information would only be updated AFTER each user completes
  40. a call...

  42. You can also specify that the list of callers be displayed in reverse
  43. chronological order.
  44.  
  45. You can also display the list from offline--nice for when you just get
  46. in and want a quick over-view of who has been online recently.
  47.  
  48. A future version of DLC will allow you to record more than 20 callers
  49. and it will automatically display More [Y/n/=] for callers who have
  50. the "more" prompt turned on.
