  17. Introdution
  18. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
  19.
  20. What is 'BBASE2VIEW' ?
  21.
  22. 'BBASE2VIEW' is a DataViewer with Printoption, especially written for
  23. Databases created with the DB-Prog. `BBase2 VERSION 5.32`.
  24.
  25. BBASE2VIEW V1.00 REQUIRES AMIGA-OS2.0 + ASL.LIBRARY
  26.
  27.
  28. Why `BBASE2VIEW` ? -> The Author......
  29.
  30. Well, I was very confused by using the original `BBase2` to view some
  31. Databases. A fast scanning through the Bases was not possible (68000CPU).
  32. The loading and processing of large Databases always tooks some Time. Also
  33. the limit of 600 Records or 50KB Databases disturbed me.
  34. So I determined to write a faster Base-Viewer for `BBase2`.
  35.
  36. The Result.....
  37.
  38. As `BBase2View` was completly in assembler written, a fast scanning through
  39. large Bases, the loading and processing Time are very optimized. The limit
  40. of Database-Intems is only a Question of available Memory.
  41. (To scann fast through the Base, use the Cursor-Keys)
  42.
  43.
  44. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
  45. Distribution-Info
  46. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
  47.
  48. It is allowed to distribute `BBase2View` in anyway (Disks/BBS`s...), when no
  49. change is made to the original Files.
  50. The following files MUST BE included on the Distribution-Disk.
  51.
  52. BBase2View_V1.00
  53. BBase2View_V1.00.info

  61. Getting started
  62. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
  63.
  64. You can start 'BBASE2VIEW' by double-clicking on its Workbench-Icon or from
  65. CLI with its Filename. If you`re using `Run BBASE2VIEW_V1.00`, you are able
  66. to use your Cli as long as you type `Endcli`.
  67.
  68. After loading `BBASE2VIEW`, it will open up a Window with many Gadgets which
  69. will be explained now.

  123. To move through the current Database, you also can use the Cursor-Keys. The
  124. Functions are as follows.......
  125.
  126. CURSOR     UP  ->  GO TO FIRST RECORD
  127. CURSOR   DOWN  ->  GO TO LAST RECORD

  134. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
  135.
  136. This Version of `BBase2View` is especially written to use DataBases, created
  137. with `BBase2` VERSION 5.32. If a new Version of `BBase2` is released and
  138. the DatabaseStruktur has changed, YOU CAN`T USE BASES CREATED WITH THE NEW
  139. VERSION OF BBASE2 IN BBASE2VIEW V1.00. Just try it out. Anyway, until a new
  140. Version of BBase2 is released, a new Version of `BBase2View` isn`t far.
