  1. These two files demonstrate hierarchical motion paths ("Moon" around
  2. "planet;" "Planet" around "sun."  In the smaller one, the "moon" appears
  3. yellowish (with a flicker of red).  As near as I can remember, I did not
  4. change the coloration of anything (except the background illumination) from
  5. one animation to the next.  I think the off-color of the moon is strictly due
  6. to the limitations of HAM mode (ie, red and green were added in sufficient
  7. quantities, but blue was never given enough favor).  At least, more due to
  8. said limitations of HAM than the limitations of the ray-tracer (Sculpt/
  9. Animate 3D).  It would be nice if you could stop the animation or even slow 
  10. it down at select points..  But currently I know of no such tool.

  12. Probably the closest to a "meaningful" animation I've managed to date.

  14. Frames are, I think, at 30 per second.  The larger is actually, if I remember
  15. correctly, full-screen (mostly constant black space, so it didn't take up so
  16. much room).
