  1. UNINSTALLING DIGITAL GRAPHICS PROGRAMS        March 97
  2. ========================================================
  3. For Programs made with Click & Create ...
  4.  
  5.         Simply left-click on the icon in the 
  6.         program group for that game. Follow the
  7.         on screen instructions.
  8.  
  9. For Programs made with Klik & Play ...
  10.  
  11.         FROM WINDOWS 3.x :
  12.            1) Go to File Manager
  13.            2) Double left click the directory which 
  14.               contains the program.
  15.  
  16.               * This is c:\windows\games if you did 
  17.               not change it at the time of installation. 
  18.            
  19.            3) Delete the main program name and its
  20.               related files.
  21.  
  22.               Note: The related files all start with
  23.               the same name as the main program.
  24.  
  25.               Example:      filename.gam
  26.                             filename.img
  27.                             filename.mtf
  28.                             filename.mus
  29.                             filename.snd
  30.                             filename.exe
  31.                             filename.wri
  32.  
  33.            4) If this was your only program made with 
  34.               Klik & Play, then you should also delete 
  35.               2 other files.
  36.  
  37.                   KNPS.DLL  and  KNPG.DLL
  38.               
  39.               These programs are usually located in the 
  40.               Windows directory. Use File Manager to 
  41.               find these files and then delete them.
  42.  
  43.            5) Finally, while in Program Manager, hilight 
  44.               the icon for the game being deleted.
  45.               The name under the icon should be hilighted
  46.               and there should be no menu exposed on the
  47.               icon.  If there is, hit the ESC key.
  48.               Then hit the Delete key to remove the icon
  49.               from the desktop.

  51.         FROM WINDOWS 95
  52.         ===============

  54.            1) Left-Click on the My Computer icon. 
  55.            2) Left-Click on the drive C icon
  56.               or whatever drive contains the program.
  57.            3) Left-Click on the directory which 
  58.               contains the game to be removed.
  59.               
  60.               * This is c:\windows\games if you did 
  61.               not change it at the time of installation. 
  62.               
  63.            4) Hilight all of the files which begin with 
  64.               the same name as the program to be removed.
  65.               
  66.               Note: The related files all start with
  67.               the same name as the main program.

  69.               Example:      filename.gam
  70.                             filename.img
  71.                             filename.mtf
  72.                             filename.mus
  73.                             filename.snd
  74.                             filename.exe
  75.                             filename.wri

  77.               ( You can hilight more than one file by either
  78.               holding down the CTRL key and left-clicking 
  79.               once on the icon or by dragging a box around
  80.               the files.)

  82.            5) After you have hilighted the desired files, hit
  83.               the delete key. You will be asked if you want to
  84.               send these files to the Recycle Bin. Say YES.

  86.            6) IF THERE ARE NO MORE GAMES ON YOUR COMPUTER THAT
  87.               WERE MADE WITH KLIK & PLAY, you can also remove 
  88.               the files KNPS.DLL and KNPG.DLL from the Windows
  89.               directory.

  91.            7) If you created a shortcut to the game, remove 
  92.               that by Right-clicking on the icon on the Desktop
  93.               and then left-clicking on Delete.

  95.            8) Fianally, you need to remove the program from 
  96.               your Start Menu.  Right-click on an empty grey
  97.               portion of the TaskBar. Then left-click on the 
  98.               word "Properties" at the bottom of the little menu.
  99.               Choose "Start Menu Programs" on the screen that
  100.               appears. Then choose "Remove" .

  102.            9) A "tree" is displayed. Find the folder which 
  103.               contains the program. Left-click once on the
  104.               "+" sign to open the folder. Right-click once
  105.               on the program name to high-light it. Then 
  106.               left-click the "Remove" button. Follow the
  107.               instructions.

  109.           10) Close all windows when you are finished.
