** Overview of Private Tutor **
Private Tutor can be used by anyone to study material which consists
of two related pieces of information. Using its editing capabilities,
pairs of words or phrases that you are trying to associate with each
other are entered (e.g., "Albany" is the capital of the state of "New
York"). Place all similar items in Field One (e.g., "Capital") and
their counterparts in Field Two (e.g., "State"). Private Tutor will
then drill you in either direction (i.e., shown Field One, you try to
recall Field Two or shown Field Two, you try to recall Field One). For
speed and ease of study, you are not required to type your answer in
the blank text box. You simply need to recall it and then (optionally)
check your answer; just like using "flash cards." The program will
remove question/answer pairs if you do not want to be asked them again
(either you know the pair or don't want to study it at the moment).
This allows review of material you don't know, while avoiding
repetition of material you do know. Sample data files on diverse
subjects are included to help you get acquainted with your new Private
Tutor and enable you to quickly begin making your own data files.
Note: As with all Windows software, use of Private Tutor requires a
working knowledge of the Windows environment and its conventions. We
refer you to your documentation, on-line help, and tutorials for this
background knowledge.

** About Magic Square Software **
Magic Square Software is a small company that produces low-cost
shareware. Our logo, a 3 X 3 magic square whose rows, columns, and
diagonals add to twelve, inspires us to write software of equal
brilliance and simplicity. Whenever you see the Magic Square Software
logo, you can be assured that you are using a well written, thoroughly
tested software product designed to make your task as easy as possible,
while protecting you from mistakes and loss of valuable time and data.
We believe in the shareware concept as it allows you the opportunity
to try a product at home before you buy it. You can determine if it
does or does not meet your needs without the risk of a large
investment. Only if you like and use the program are you obligated to
pay the requested fee. What could be more fair?
