  1. Welcome to Pare A Pair!

  3. Pare A Pair is a matching game.  There are three levels of play, and you can 
  4. match items directly or by type.  "Preview" changes the strategy of the game:
  5. can you remember every tile correctly?   Set the speed for your skill level,
  6. and use Help to identify tricky types.  You can keep score or not; it's your 
  7. choice.  Good luck.

  9. Pare A Pair requires a mouse and Windows95.  There are no age restrictions.  
  10. Pare A Pair has play that is challenging for adults, while level one is designed
  11. specifically for young children (under six years of age).

  13. Pare a Pair encourages players of all skill levels.  No matter how long it takes
  14. - you can always win, and if you've improved - Pare a Pair will let you know.

  18. Instructions for Installation and Removal of Pare A Pair:

  20. Use the Setup program to install Pare A Pair.
  21.   1. Close all open applications.
  22.   2. Double click on the Setup.exe icon.  
  23.   3. You will be asked to select a folder for Pare A Pair.  You may accept
  24.      the default (Program Files\ParePair) or select another.  
  25.   4. Press the Install button so that the installation may be completed.

  27. Please Note:  Pare A Pair needs the following Windows95 dll files:  Mfc40, 
  28.   Msvcrt20, Msvcrt40, Olepro32.  If these files are not in your Windows\System
  29.   directory, they will need to be installed from your Windows95 CD.

  31. Use the Windows95 Add/Remove Programs feature to uninstall Pare A Pair.
  32.   1. Select Control Panel from the Settings option of the Start Menu.
  33.   2. Double click on the Add/Remove Programs icon.
  34.   3. Select PareAPair from the listing of available programs.
  35.   4. Click the Add/Remove button.  When asked to confirm the removal, click Yes.
  36.   5. Click OK twice.
