There aren't many tips, only some useful info! So read on!!
Metal Knights is a turn-based game; on the Internet, once you've moved your units, you'll have to wait the other players (at most 24 hours) to move them again.
You can press F1 to get help on about every dialog box in the game.
Double-Clicking on the World Map View turns it to the Radar View.
There is a keyboard short-cut for every common command in the game.
You can resize the World Map View as you like to have a more precise look.
Use the I and O key to zoom in/out the game window as you like!
You can scroll faster by holding the Ctrl Key while moving with the arrow keys on the Battlefield View.
Don't forget to change the tax rate! Keeping it at 50% is NOT a good idea!
Discover more advanced units as soon in the game as you can. The Hercule and Panther units are among the first to be discovered and in the most useful.
You can right-click on a Base, City, Mine, Transport to select another unit which lies in the same square.
There is a secret weapon called The Porcupine Star.
You should build roads between at least your resource sites and the nearest city to make your Trucks go faster.
A City becomes a Metropole once it has 5000 citizens.
A Metropole gives two University discoveries instead of one.
Nuclear units can't be gained as a Metropole 2nd unit.
Porcupine units are cheap, very effective defensive units to protect your Base, cities, bridges...
Invisible enemy units may block the path to your units.
You can move a unit in 8 different directions by using the numeric keypad or the mouse.
Experiment with different tax rates to find the most efficient ones.
You can see the the game before accepting a Peace Offer by answering Cancel to it.
