  11. These are some introductory notes for Illusions.

  14. Overview
  15.  
  16. This game requires Windows 3.1, VBRun200.dll, and an unzipping utility.
  17. Depending on your computer's configuration you may need 8 megabytes of RAM.
  18.  
  19. This is a sliding tile puzzle. These kinds of puzzles are about 100 years 
  20. old. Almost everyone has seen or played with one.
  21.  
  22. A square is divided into a grid. Each section of the grid contains a tile 
  23. which makes up part of a picture chosen by you from those available. 
  24. (Three with the sampler. 22 plus whatever you create with the registered 
  25. version.) After you study the picture the computer scrambles the tiles. 
  26. The computer also removes one of the tiles. The scrambling and removed 
  27. tile are different each time.

  29. Your job is to move the tiles around, by clicking on them, until you have 
  30. recreated the picture, when you will be rewarded by a tune. Wonderful.

  33. INSTALLATION
  34.  
  35. 1. In order to install this program, open the File menu from Program Manager.
  36. and Select Run. If the files are on a floppy, type the letter
  37. of the drive that the floppy is in, a colon, and the word "Install", and 
  38. press Enter. If the files are on a hard disk directory, type the path, 
  39. a backslash and the word "Install" and press Enter.  Or, run "install.exe"
  40. from File Manager.

  42. 2.  If the Install program will not load everything, then load everything 
  43. into a directory of your choice, except ilusion.hlp, which goes in your
  44. main Windows directory. 
  45.  
  46. 3. Download VBRun200.dll from any of the commercial BBS's (America OnLine,
  47. Compuserve, Delphi, etc.). Place it in the same directory as the rest of
  48. the files. If you already have VBRun200.dll in your Windows System 
  49. directory this program should run.

  56. This program is not free. It is Shareware. This means that you may try it 
  57. out before you decide whether or not to buy it. After you have tried it 
  58. out, if you intend to keep using it you must register it by sending

  65. When you register you will receive a version of  Illusions which has 22 
  66. pictures of impossible objects, and which will lets you make a puzzle out 
  67. of any picture you create and out of any picture or photo you can convert 
  68. to a bitmap format. You will also receive  another game which you have 
  69. not played before, and with which you can waste time, and a sampler for 
  70. yet a third  game.

  72. You may give the program to as many people as you wish. When you do so, 
  73. you must transfer all the files on the disk or in the .ZIP file. Each 
  74. user must send in the registration fee unless they are members of the same 
  75. household.
