  1. Introducing BENWARE shareware

  5. Important Note:
  6.  
  7. BENWARE programs are written in MicroSoft Visual Basic.
  8.  
  9. Visual basic programs require VBRUN300.DLL and VER.DLL to be in
  10. your Windows/System directory.
  11.  
  12. The program you have down loaded from AOL is a special program
  13. developed for those AOL users who already have a copy of
  14. VBRUN300.DLL in their Windows/System directory.  This program
  15. does NOT have VBRUN300.DLL in it. If you don't have VBRUN300.DLL
  16.  you must down load it separately from ALO.

  20. Playing HideAndSeek 
  21.  
  22.   Run the FindMe.EXE program directly from the FILE MANAGER.
  23.  
  24.     a. Using the File Manager go to where you downloaded the
  25. HideSeek files.
  26.  
  27. b. Double click on the Findme.exe file.
  28.  
  29.    If HideSeek doesn't begin, the file may have been corrupted
  30. during downloading,    try downloading again.

  35. To save download time (and thus your money) I have not included
  36. a setup program as setting up this program is easy. If you order
  37. the full program, it comes with a setup program.
  38.  
  39. If you want to setup this program to run from a program item use
  40. the following setup instructions.

  42. SetUp instructions:
  43.  
  44.     Step 1. Create a directory named BENWARE.
  45.  
  46.     Step 2. Copy the following files to the BENWARE directory.

  48.         Findme.exe     
  49.  
  50.         boingbo8.wav    
  51.  
  52.         tada.wav        
  53.  
  54.         tag843.wav     
  55.  
  56.     Step 3. Create a program group called BenWare. 
  57.  
  58.        a. Choose the New command from the File menu.
  59.  
  60.        b. In the New Program Object dialog box, choose Program Group 
  61.           and click OK.

  63.        c. In the Description text box, type a name for the new group
  64.         (BENWARE) and click OK.

  68. Step 4. Create a program item.

  70.          a. Choose the New command from the File menu.
  71.  
  72.        b. In the New Program Object dialog box, choose Program Item 
  73.               and click OK.

  75.        c. In the Program Item Properties dialog box type HideSeek 
  76.               in the Description box.
  77.  
  78.        e. Type the Path and File Name in the command line box.
  79.           EXAMPLE C:\HIDESEEK\FINDME.EXE (HINT- use Browse to locate file)

  81.        f. Type the Path in the Working Directory box.
  82.               EXAMPLE C:\HIDESEEK

  84.        g. Click on the change Icon button and select icon and click OK.

  86.        h. Click OK in the Program Item Properties dialog box.
