  26. In 1994 I wrote a roulette game (never released) for the great Amiga(tm)
  27. ...  after two looong year I decided to write a PC version of that
  28. program using the powerful Delphi(tm) RAD system. I've improved graphics
  29. and added some new stuff, but the gameÆs scheme has not changed.

  31. AIMS OF THE GAME:
  32. -----------------

  34. A)  enjoy yourself trying to win as many credits as possible
  35.  
  36. B) develop strategies that can be used with real roulettes in real Casinos
  37.  
  38.  
  39. The PC version is SHAREWARE and I've included a small tiresome "noise" that
  40. will encourage you to register:

  43. IN THE UNREGISTERED VERSION:
  44.  
  45. - YOU CAN BET ONLY 10 CREDITS AT A TIME
  46.  
  47. - YOU MUST START A GAME WITH ONLY 10 CREDITS (BUT EVEN WITH 10 CREDITS YOU CAN
  48.   WIN A FORTUNE ;-)
  49.  
  50. - EVERY 10 GAMES THE ABOUT WINDOW WILL AUTOMATICALLY APPEAR AND DROULETTE WILL
  51.   FORCE YOU TO WAIT A FEW SECONDS BEFORE CONTINUE PLAYING

  53. IF YOU REGISTER THESE LIMITS WILL DISAPPEAR (see ôHow to registerö section).

  57. *** INSTALLATION ***
  58. ====================

  60. Unzip DROULE11.ZIP archive into a temporary directory (or directly into your
  61. favourite game directory) then run the SETUP.EXE program found in the archive.
  62.  
  63. Installation options:
  64.  
  65. a) copy files to a destination directory: enable it if you want to copy
  66.    ROULETTE.EXE main program and the related files from the directory where
  67.    youÆve unzipped DROULE11.ZIP archive to another directory.
  68.    (default = enabled)
  69.  
  70. b) create a group for DRoulette in Program Manager: enable it if you want to
  71.    automatically create a group ôDRouletteö (with related icons) in your
  72.    Program Manager.
  73.   (default = enabled)

  75. Click on <Install> button to install DRoulette, on <Abort> button if
  76. want to skip installation.

  79. An installation example:

  81. Suppose you've a floppy disk with DROULE13.ZIP file.
  82.  
  83.   - from Windows(tm) open a MS-DOS session (MS-DOS prompt) and type:

  85.     C:\> copy A:\DROULE13.ZIP C:\TMP
  86.     C:\> cd C:\TMP
  87.     C:\TMP> unzip DROULE13.ZIP
  88.     C:\TMP> exit
  89.  
  90.   - select Run from File menu' and type:
  91.  
  92.     C:\TMP\ SETUP.EXE
  93.  
  94.     then click <OK> button; wait a bit and click on <Install> button on the
  95.     installation window;
  96.  
  97.   - double click on DRoulette icon in the new DRoulette group and have fun!

  100. NOTE: if you donÆt run SETUP.EXE, DRoulette will work perfectly as well;
  101. but, in this case, youÆll need to add a Program Manager group (or item)
  102. manually.

  106. *** REGISTRATION ***

  109. You may freely distribute the unregistered version it as long as all of
  110. its files are included in their original form without additions,
  111. deletions, or modifications, and only a nominal fee is charged for its
  112. distribution. It cannot be distributed as a part of commercial product
  113. without author's written permission.

  115. The registered version cannot be distributed in any way.

  118.   IF YOU PLAY DELUXE ROULETTE AND FEEL THAT IT IS GOOD, YOU SHOULD
  119.   REGISTER: THE SHAREWARE FEE IS USA $10 (OR AN EQUIVALENT SUM IN DM OR
  120.   ITALIAN LIRE).

  123. NOTE: this program may be included in freeware and shareware
  124. collections, providing that the previous conditions are respected.
