Thank you for downloading Crystal Place. The object of this game is to earn as much money as you can to buy weapons and armor to fight with in the town arena. The only two ways to earn money is to either:
1) Defeat an enemy in the arena
2) Sell old weapons/armor/shields to the merchant, but you only earn one-fourth of what you bought it for
To earn hitpoints that you have lost in battle, you can go to the INN. You can either heal all of the possible hitpoints or a certain number of hitpoints. I cost one gold per each hitpoint you heal, but it doubles when you are on level 2, and it triples when you are onn level 3 and so on.
After you defeat the level 10 warrior of each level, you will be told the name of the next town that you need to go to. To go to that town click on the button "Leave Town", and type in the exact name of the town, and the upper/lower case counts.
In the fighting screen, each player takes turns to attack. When you attack, you have five options:
1) Strike- This is a normal hit, and it is fairly easy to hit the person
2) Jab- This is a super hard hit, but the chances to miss the opponent are greater than if you were to strike
3) Defend- When you defend, you hold up your shield and when an opponent attacks you, you are not damaged near as much, and your defence gets better as you buy better shields. You stop defending as soon as you attack
4) Meditate- Each time you meditate, your stregnth goes up and you can attack for much more that usual. As soon as you attack, your stregnth goes back down to normal.
5) Run- If the going gets rough then sometimes it is necessary to run away back to safety. Sometimes you are not able to run away though.
