  10. Canasta 3.01 is a strategy card game for Windows,
  11. using Artificial Intelligence. You play against the
  12. computer, and the trick is to win the game by
  13. scoring as many points as you can.
  14. Points are scored through melding cards and by making
  15. canastas (a canasta is a column of seven cards,
  16. i.e. seven Kings).

  18. Canasta follows the official rules of the 'National Canasta
  19. Laws Commission' and comes with full explanations of all
  20. rules in the online help.

  22. There are three skill levels, and a load of options to
  23. configure the game the way you want it. Canasta supports
  24. resolutions up to 1024x768.
  25. Other features include load & save, highscores, win ratio,
  26. selectable cardbacks and configurable sound & music.

  29. VGA color monitor and a mouse (sound card optional).
