  1. "Animated Arithmetic CD" for Windows and Win 95

  3. teaches addition, subtraction, multiplication and division for children
  4. from 1st through 4th grades.

  6. It provides exercises in addition and  subtraction with and without 
  7. regrouping.  Problems can involve up to 9 digits.  More than just a 
  8. drill program, progressive  help is given as needed to instruct the 
  9. child to solve the problems.

  11. The multiplication and division problems are based on the multiplication 
  12. table from 1 to 10, it teaches "mental math" in a painless way.  
  13. Progressive help is given as needed when the student is having difficulty 
  14. with a particular problem (not just a Wrong! response from the computer).

  16. Once ten problems are completed,  the student gets to visit the game room.
  17. There are puzzles with animation and sound, and a maze game where the child
  18. can make their own mazes (which are rewarded with an animation when solved),
  19. or make their own mazes.
