AFAIK, this is a simple serial chip.

I have a TNW-1000 with docs, I could go and photocopy the docs if it
would help.
(Although you might be served speedier if there is someone in europe
that can provide you with the neccecary info.
Mine is a one-way serial converter: GPIB to serial. Simple to use (the
dip switches are labeled, except that the baud rate is kinda hard to
adjust: by potentiometer. The manual gives a BASIC program that allows
you to set the rate. It does so by measuring the time it takes to
excecute the PRINT# statement, I believe.
