I have several years data on CBM 4040 discs as SEQ files (15
years, 150 discs!). I need to transfer this data to PC format
before my last PET finally dies.
Does anyone know of
- a service that would do this for me
or
- a PC program that can control the CBM 4040 over the IEEE 488
bus.
I have tried to use National Instruments IEEE 488 cards to
control the CBM 4040 but with no success. I suspect that the
CBM 4040 uses non standard secondary address methods.
(Please send copies of replies by Email (drj@ray.npl.co.uk) as
my mailserver is slow and temperamental.)
