¢ o=o=o=o=o=¢¢ Join Mega List!¢¢ One of our members is also a member¢ of the AUNT user group in Texas, a¢ frequent contributor to csa8 and the¢ Polish mailing list. His name is¢ GREG GOODWIN, but he is also known as¢ Dr. Clu. Even though Greg was¢ recently married, he finds time for¢ his Atari hobby in general, and for¢ special projects that must take¢ considerable time and effort.¢¢ One of these projects is the¢ compilation of a "Mega List" of Atari¢ users. I suggested to Greg that he¢ contact user groups to see if they¢ would allow him to use their¢ membership lists. However, I also¢ warned Greg that in some cases the¢ clubs would protect the privacy of¢ their members and not release the¢ lists. Such was the case at OHAUG. ¢ However, you, as an individual¢ member, are certainly free to release¢ your own information to Greg should¢ you wish to do so. His name and¢ address are on the printed membership¢ list that is dated February 20, 1999¢ and his e-mail address is in this¢ newsletter's e-mail list.¢¢ While I don't have the specifics of¢ what Greg plans to do with this Mega¢ List, I can state that the¢ compilation of similar lists in the¢ past has led to such things as Atari¢ Classics Magazine and other positive¢ developments in our community.
