¢ -----------¢ ***** IN MEMORIAM *****¢ ¢ THIS OL' HACKERS NEWSLETTER DISK ¢ IS HEREBY DEDICATED TO THE WARM, AND¢ PLEASANT MEMORIES OF OUR DEPARTED¢ COMRADE, KRIS HOLTEGAARD¢ ¢ The OL' HACKERS ATARI USERS GROUP¢ has lost a true friend in the untimely¢ accidental death of KRIS HOLTEGAARD in¢ an auto accident in January 1992. KRIS¢ will always be remembered for his love¢ and enthusiasm for the ATARI 8 BIT and¢ his willingness always to help out any¢ one who had a problem. Often, KRIS¢ would go to someones house and spend¢ hours helping, teaching, guiding those¢ of us who were neophytes. He loved to¢ get in front of the club and do a demo¢ all the while dancing to and fro as he¢ gave out a wealth of information that¢ often was over our heads. Delivered in¢ his rapid fire speech, which somehow¢ seemed to make sense when he said it, ¢ but was too much data to be absorbed¢ by those of us who did not have his¢ ability to grasp and hold computer ¢ concepts. ¢ ¢ KRIS was a hard working, family man¢ with a puckish smile, who was always¢ a loyal OL' HACKER. We are gratefull¢ that KRIS made a couple of SPARTA DOS¢ Video tapes, so that we can continue¢ to learn from him, even though he is¢ gone. We in the 8 BIT ATARI world will¢ sorely miss KRIS, but he will be ¢ remembered by those of us lucky enough¢ to have crossed his path. ¢ ¢ REST IN PEACE, DEAR FRIEND!¢ ¢ ******¢
