¢ ---------------------------------¢ FILE¢ ---------------------------------¢¢ The file option of Desktop offers¢ some of the normal DOS operations¢ without having to leave the¢ Desktop environment.¢¢ To use the FILE section, use your¢ joystick to move the arrow to the¢ word FILE at the top of the¢ screen. Press the button. At¢ this point you may ABORT (go back¢ to the arrow), LIST, or format a¢ disk in drive D1: only.¢¢ To choose drive 1 or 2, move the¢ stick left or right.¢¢ Choosing LIST causes a window to¢ appear with the first seven files¢ of the disk directory. Use your¢ joystick to scroll up or down the¢ list of filenames. You must¢ select a file at this point to¢ return control to the FILE window.¢¢ Delete, Lock, and Unlock work the¢ same as through the DOS 2.0/2.5¢ menu.¢¢ Loading or Running a BASIC file¢ will disable Desktop. To return¢ to Desktop, reboot the Desktop¢ disk or press RESET while the¢ Desktop disk is in drive 1.¢¢ LOADing or RUNning a text or doc¢ file will enable you to read it.¢XXX¢¢¢¢¢¢¢
