By installing this software you are consenting to be bound by the terms of this agreement.
1. Welcome to TAXI. TAXI is maintained by Taxi Interactive Limited ("Taxi Interactive"). Subject to paragraph 2 below and save as permitted by law, now that you have downloaded TAXI on to a storage device on your system, you may not further copy TAXI in whole or in part for any purpose whatsoever and you may not decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer TAXI.
2. TAXI is protected by copyright (see paragraph 7 below). You are, however, subject to the terms of this Legal Notice, licensed to use TAXI for your personal use. You are entitled to copy TAXI for third parties to use TAXI for their personal use provided that you bring any third parties' attention to this Legal Notice. The right to use TAXI is personal and limited to non-commercial use (see paragraph 8 below).
3. The text, graphics, video images, sound links and all other items ("Materials") accessible by you through TAXI are derived from a wide variety of different sources over which Taxi Interactive has no control. Accordingly, you must:-
(a) assess whether the Materials you select meet your needs; and
(b) test the Materials, for viruses and ensure that if the Materials are virus-infected or contaminated or corrupt, they will not damage your system or your or third party data; and
(c) ensure that you are entitled to store, reproduce or otherwise use the Materials before doing so; and
(d) comply with any obligations, including but not limited to those imposed on you by copyright and other intellectual property rights (see below), and the law relating to confidentiality, defamation, obscenity and pornography.
4. TAXI is provided to you free of charge and the Materials accessed through TAXI are provided "as is". Taxi Interactive assumes no responsibility for reviewing the contents of the Materials accessed through TAXI and makes no warranty or representation in respect thereof including without limitation:-
(a) as to the content, quality, accuracy, currency, completeness or suitability of any Materials accessed for any purpose; or
(b) as to whether a search using TAXI may locate unintended Materials; or
(c) that the Materials are free of infection by, or will not infect your system with, viruses or any other corrupting, contaminating or destructive features; or
(d) that the Materials will not contain obscene material or material which you find offensive or objectionable; or
(e) that the Materials will not be defamatory of any person or infringe the intellectual property rights of any person; or
(f) that the Materials comply with the laws of England and Wales; or
(g) that the operation of TAXI will be uninterrupted or error-free or that defects in TAXI will be corrected
and you hereby agree that the entire risk as to use of TAXI and any and all Materials accessed through TAXI remains with you.
5. So far as permitted by law, Taxi Interactive disclaims all liability to you or any other person for any loss, damage, costs or expenses incurred however, whenever or wherever arising, whether by negligence or otherwise from the display of, access to, use of or inability to use the Materials or from the results obtained or generated from the use of TAXI. Taxi Interactive excludes, so far as permitted by law, all warranties whether express or implied, including, without limitation, any warranty of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. Taxi Interactive will not be responsible if any Materials infect, corrupt, contaminate or destroy data or software on your system whether such data or software belongs to you or to a third party.
6. Indemnity
You hereby agree to indemnify Taxi Interactive against any liability relating to your breach of the terms of this Legal Notice or the use by Taxi Interactive of information provided by you on the user registration form.
7. Use of Information
By providing Taxi Interactive with the information on the user registration form, you hereby grant permission for Taxi Interactive to use such information for the purposes for which Taxi Interactive is registered under the Data Protection Act 1984 including without limitation transmission of such information to TAXI content providers unless you indicate otherwise on your user registration form.
8. Copyright and Copyright Notice
The copyright in TAXI including its layout and design is owned by Taxi Interactive and reproduction, redistribution or publication of all or any part of TAXI are prohibited without the express written consent of Taxi Interactive.

The copyright and other intellectual property rights in Materials accessed through TAXI are owned by third parties and you are referred to in paragraph 2(c) above in relation to use thereof.
9. Commercial Use
You may not reproduce or otherwise use for commercial purposes the Material in which the intellectual property rights are owned by Taxi Interactive without the express written permission of Taxi Interactive. Without such written permission, you may not resell or commercially exploit any such Materials. You are referred to paragraph 2(c) above in respect of commercial use of Materials accessed through TAXI in which the intellectual property rights are owned by third parties.
10. The TAXI Trade Mark
TAXI is the registered trade mark of Taxi Interactive Limited in the United Kingdom. You may make fair use of the trade mark TAXI in order to refer to or identify TAXI's services without Taxi Interactive's permission provided you state that TAXI is a registered trade mark of Taxi Interactive Limited in the United Kingdom and do not use the TAXI trade mark:-
(a) in, as or as part of your own trade mark; or
(b) to purport to identify activities, products or services which are not TAXI or Taxi Interactive products or services; or
(c) in a manner likely to cause deception or confusion; or
(d) in a manner that gives the impression that Taxi Interactive or TAXI sponsors or endorses or is connected with your or any other person's activities, products or services; or
(e) in a manner that is disparaging to TAXI or Taxi Interactive.
11. Third Party Trade Marks
All other trade marks, brands, logos or names displayed in TAXI or in any Materials accessible through TAXI are hereby acknowledged as the property of their respective owners. You are referred to paragraph 2(c) above in respect of use thereof.
12. Applicable Law
TAXI is operated and controlled by Taxi Interactive from England and use of TAXI shall be governed by English law. Any and all claims or disputes however, whenever and wherever arising in connection with the use of TAXI shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts and you hereby submit to such jurisdiction. Taxi Interactive makes no representation that Materials accessible through TAXI are suitable for use outside England and access to them from territories where the Materials are illegal is prohibited. If you access TAXI from locations other than England you do so on your initiative and you are responsible for compliance with local laws.
